Sarah MacGillivray, an experienced project manager and technical assistance (TA) provider, designs and leads efficient workflow processes, guides the development of strategic dissemination plans, and manages project communications. The co-chair of EDC’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Communications Subcommittee, she brings a deep commitment to achieving equitable access to high-quality education for all students.

MacGillivray advances the goals of several National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded resource centers, including the STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR), which focus on broadening participation in STEM and preparing youth for success in the future workforce. She plays a key role in supporting strategic business development efforts to expand EDC’s portfolio of innovative STEM education initiatives.

As a TA provider, MacGillivray specializes in designing and facilitating in-person and online meetings, webinars, and presentations. She co-chaired the 2018 NSF Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) Summit and 2018 NSF EAGER Maker Summit. She also contributed to the programming and webcast for the 2019 NSF ITEST Summit and Cyberlearning 2019.

MacGillivray holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston.
