Pat Merryweather-Arges is a successful organizational and governance leader in health care with specialization in quality improvement, safety performance improvement, and change-focused collaboration. She has 30 years of experience leading health care and governance organizations at local, state, national, and international levels. She is dedicated to achieving improved health and mental health outcomes for diverse populations.

As the project director for EDC’s National Dementia Care Collaborative (NDCC), Merryweather-Arges helps lead the NDCC team in meeting performance targets and accomplishing their goal to significantly improve dementia care. Beyond EDC, she is the executive director of Project Patient Care.

Merryweather-Arges is the board vice president of Rotary International, a board member and past vice chair of the National Association of Health Data Organizations, and the board chair of a Chicago safety net hospital. She also serves as a director on several public health and health care boards.

Merryweather-Arges holds an MA in Sociology with a concentration in Community Development from Marquette University. She has completed postgraduate studies in Sociology and Epidemiology at the University of Illinois and Loyola University.
