Jerry Mindes has over 30 years experience in program and project design and management, business development, and advocacy. Over the course of his career, he has worked to define and advance the intersection between disability rights and international development.

As the senior inclusive development advisor to the Inclusive Development for Equitable Assistance activity, Mindes serves as the project’s lead technical expert.

Prior to EDC, Mindes was the human rights advisor and director of Business Development for the International Foundation for Electoral Systems. At the American Institutes for Research, he served as the chief of party of the USAID Engage Project to advance disability inclusive development and was also AIR’s managing director for international development.

Mindes has a BA degree in Political Science from Kenyon College.
