Explore It! Science Investigations in Out-of-School Programs

The investigations in Explore It! provide an experiential foundation for the development of concepts aligned with the national standards that are addressed in formal school curricula. Explore It! provides a series of science experiences for students ages 8–12 in both out-of-school programs and within the classroom. Subjects covered include soda science, cake chemistry, wiring a house, exploring foods, and sinking and floating. The activities are meant to help students understand science concepts through everyday items and actions.
