Our World, Our Work is a 10-year EDC initiative to ensure 1 million young people (60% young women) between the ages of 18 to 30 are employed or selfemployed in decent, inclusive, sustainable green and blue jobs. This report brings together the reflections, priorities, and recommended actions of more than 70 participants from the private sector, civil society, funding agencies, and youth themselves who participated in the kick off meeting for the initiative.
The goals of the meeting were to:
- Learn from each other about key opportunities and challenges in catalyzing youth employment in green and blue economies
- Identify opportunities for collective action among our organizations
- Identify additional partners not represented at the meeting
