EDC has been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation to lead Innovation Pathways to Data Careers. This new initiative will prepare diverse groups of youth—including youth of color and youth from low-income communities—to pursue careers in data science.

EDC public health specialists will present on a variety of timely topics at the American Public Health Association (APHA) 2020 Annual Meeting and Expo, to be held virtually October 24–28.
Steven Shuman of EDC, was awarded the Dr. Susan S. Aronson Early Education and Child Care Advocacy Award for 2020 by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Early Childhood.
Over the next five years, EDC and partners will support MIECHV awardees in strengthening home visiting services to improve outcomes for pregnant women, children, and families.
