EDC is carrying out a research and development project related to Math for All (MFA), a professional development program for teachers who teach elementary school students with disabilities.
The project has three distinct components:
- Conduct a qualitative study on the way that facilitators use the professional development materials.
- Develop resources for teacher leaders and other facilitators of professional development based on the qualitative study. Resources include: 1) Facilitator case book; 2) Model for facilitator institutes; 3) Model for continued online support for facilitators
- Conduct an experimental study, using a randomized controlled trial model, to determine the effectiveness of these resources.
