CME Project Mathematical Practices Implementation Study

This project is a four-year mixed-methods research study of teachers’ implementation of CME Project, a new NSF-funded, high school curriculum organized around “mathematical habits of mind,” the specialized ways of approaching mathematical problems and concepts that resemble those used by mathematicians. It will examine the role of CME Project and EDC’s accompanying professional development in supporting teachers’ mathematical knowledge for teaching and changes in instructional practice.
