Inquiring into Student Learning, Progess, and Achievement

In this section, the format of propositions, followed by exploratory questions, is continued. All of the following propositions focus on students' learning, on how it can be best explored and evaluated, and on strategies that are employed to ensure that all students have appropriate opportunities to learn. The evidence that students are learning is to be found in what they say; what they read and how they use it; what they write; what they make; how they act, and in activities that show what they know, understand and are able to do. Please keep this definition in mind as you think about the questions.
