Dr. Barbara Dubitsky

Dr. Barbara Dubitsky, Principal Investigator, is the Director of the Mathematics Leadership Program and a faculty member of the Graduate School at Bank Street College of Education. Dr. Dubitsky brings extensive experience in mathematics, teacher education and staff development, mathematics teaching and learning, and technology integration.

Dr. Babette Moeller

Dr. Babette Moeller, Co-Principal Investigator, is a Senior Scientist at EDC's Center for Children and Technology. Her work focuses on promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities in educational reform efforts in mathematics and science. Dr. Moeller also serves as adjunct faculty at Bank Street College of Education.

Dr. Marvin Cohen

Dr. Marvin Cohen, Faculty Participant, serves as the Director of Instructional Technology at Bank Street College and is a senior faculty member in the Mathematics Leadership Program. His interests include the uses of technology to better prepare mathematics teachers to work in diverse and inclusive settings.

Dr. Harold Melnick

Dr. Harold Melnick, Faculty Participant, is a faculty member of the Mathematics Leadership and the General Teacher Education Programs at Bank Street College of Education. Dr. Melnick brings experiences has a mathematics teacher and staff developer in New York City public schools.

Ms. Linda Metnetsky

Ms. Linda Metnetsky, Faculty Participant, is a faculty member of the Mathematics Leadership and the General Teacher Education Programs at Bank Street College. Ms. Metnetsky brings extensive experience with mathematics staff development in mainstream, inclusive, and special education settings.

Dr. Ilene Kantrov

Dr. Ilene Kantrov, Case Study Expert, is Director of the Center for Educational Resources and Outreach at EDC. Dr. Kantrov has nearly 20 years of experience in developing curriculum, software, and resources designed to build teachers' and others' understanding of issues involved in curriculum and school reform. Dr. Kantrov is co-editor of a volume of cases on school reform, and co-author of a book on facilitating case discussions.

Dr. Karen Marschke-Tobier

Dr. Karen Marschke-Tobier, Faculty Participant, is faculty member of the Early Childhood Special Education Program at Bank Street College of Education. Dr. Marschke-Tobier also brings experience as an early childhood teacher, Head Start consultant, child therapist, and school social worker. She teaches a two-semester advanced seminar in Case Studies.

Ms. Andrea Brothman

Ms. Andrea Brothman, Video Specialist, is an Educational Technologist at Bank Street College. In this role she supports Bank Street faculty in integrating technology into their graduate school courses, with a particular focus on video production and use.

Ms. Jennifer Clarke

Ms. Jennifer Clarke, Curriculum Writer, is a research associate at EDC's Center for Educational Resources and Outreach, where she is currently developing student and teacher materials for an interdisciplinary high school curriculum that develops students' problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. She holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on effective ways to integrate media and technology into learning.

Ms. Louisa Anderson

Ms. Louisa Anderson, Project Coordinator, is Associate Project Director at EDC's Center for Children and Technology. She currently serves as a researcher and administrator for several projects dealing with technology and equity of access.

Dr. Ellen Meier

Dr. Ellen Meier, External Evaluator, is Co-Director for the Center for Technology and School Change at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Meier has extensive evaluation experience in the area of school reform, including constructivist science teacher preparation and inclusion teaching.

Dr. Kathy Powell

Dr. Kathy Powell, External Evaluator, is an educational consultant who works throughout New York State. She provides support to educators who are trying to integrate technology into their various settings (i.e., public schools, private schools and community-based organizations). For over a decade, she has taught young people, of all ages, how to use emerging technologies. She also spent a number of years conducting educational research and investigating issues of diversity in the design of multimedia technologies. The current focus of her work is professional development, project evaluation, and media design.
