In our Mac environment we also use Powerpoint 97 and SOME students can use
Photoshop though only a class at a time because we have limited licenses. Teachers
use a variety of web construction materials ranging from Netscape composer through
Pagemill. We also have Front Page and because we haven't gotten very far in
teaching web page construction, we haven't made decisions about which to
emphasize.
At home I have graduated to Photoshop Elements which we are now considering for the
school, too, because of the ease of use.
Students also copy and paste pictures into Appleworks and Word documents happily,
and often, alas, without regard to their source.
Please EMPHASIZE sourcing.
