Recently my American Memory partner (Jane) and I were discussing our
experiences with the Library and the collections and the community of
educators involved with American Memory. From the great online orientation
(we learned a lot and we started to become acquainted with each other
(Hello, Carolyn)) -- through a terrific week in D.C. (I agree with all the
superlatives that other fellows have used to describe the Institute) -- and
continuing into the present with our listserv communications: this was and
is a peak professional experience.
BTW, I just finished rereading all the emails from my fellow Fellows about
the program, and I have to say: I miss you guys!
