On Sunday, April 25, 1999 the Library of Congress main web server and the
American Memory server will will be down for maintenance from 7:00 a.m.
until 5:00 p.m. This maintenance has been scheduled to perform necessary
storage upgrades.
THOMAS should be unaffected if you use its direct URL:
<http://thomas.loc.gov/>.
If you want to search the library's catalog on Sunday, try LOCIS at
<telnet://locis.loc.gov/>. The interface is several generations old, but
it's really fast.
