Watch for this upcoming American Memory presentation:
"Orgins of American Animation."
The collection contains 21 animated films and 2 fragments and is the Motion
Picture, Broadcasting & Recorded Sound (MBRS) Division's first use of video
streaming online. The site contains notes for the animated films written
by former MBRS curator, Scott Simmon, and an updated, html-ed finding aid
to silent animated films in the MBRS's collections. Keeping with the theme
of the collection, the home page graphic is animated!
Films will be available in Real Media, MPEG, and Quicktime file formats.
