Send a message to Peter Bartis, Send a message to Peter Bartis, peba@loc.gov.
He is the project coordinator for Local Legacies. He dropped off a packet
to me this morning. Much of the information describing the program is
online on their website. Permission forms, etc. are coming. It has *just*
gone through to Representatives and Senators. I'm not surprised that it
hasn't gotten down to the local offices yet.

You might want to send an email message to the DC office. You can find the
webpages and email addresses on THOMAS (http://thomas.loc.gov/). On the
bicentennial page there is a link to C-SPAN where you can also find email
addresses.

Good luck,
Judy
