Hi Everyone,
The Library's Bicentennial is in 2000 and many things are being planned.
You can go to the website for the program to see what's coming - there's
something for everyone.
And...do check out Local Legacies. This is a program involving oral
history. Packets have been sent out to each member of Congress about the
program. Check out the details at

This would be an opportunity to document an important part of your
communitites and work in conjunction with other community organizations at
an important time in our history. To learn what is going on in your area,

representative's office.
