Thanks for the update.

Are you working on a PC? If so, you might consider a graphics package
called Paint Shop Pro. It's not nearly as expensive as Photoshop (about
$100) and the learning curve is more like a gentle slope! You can even
download an examination copy at http://www.jasc.com. Zdnet
(http://www.zdnet.com) even offers online classes for it, if you really
want to get into it.
