Hi Mel,
Thanks again for helping to launch a fruitful discussion on the new AM
interface. Your vote is very important - if our own Fellows have trouble,
how will new users fare?
About the discussion format - be aware that the software used to create the
conferencing areas (Hypernews) is not the latest and greatest. It was a
good tool two years ago when we held the first institute, but new products
have come on the market with enhanced features. We are using WebCrossing
for an online workshop that we are currently designing and testing.
If you are interested in learning more about online conferencing software,
let me know. I have a URL or two that might help.
Congratulations on all of these interesting developments! Little did you
know where the American Memory Fellows Institute would lead....
