Welcome to AMfellows, the listserv for American Memory Fellows.
Subscribers include American Memory Fellows, CCT facilitators, and selected
Library of Congress staff members. To send a message ot all of the people
currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to AMFELLOWS@LOC.GOV.
This is called "sending mail to the list," because you send mail to a
single address and LISTSERV makes copies for all the people listed above.
This address is also called the "list address."
Send questions, comments and problems about the list to the moderator,

You can send "commands" to the listserv by sending mail to
LISTSERV@RS8.LOC.GOV. Leave the subject line blank, and place the command
in all upper case, in the first (and only) line of the text. If you use a
signature block, switch it off.
Some commands:
SET AMFELLOWS NOMail
If you want to temporarily suspend Amfellows messages for vacation.
SET AMFELLOWS Mail
To re-start Amfellows message delivery after time on "NOMail" status.
SET AMFELLOWS DIGests
To have your Amfellows messages delivered as one mail message a day.
SET AMFELLOWS NODIGests
To return to having Amfellows messages dilivered individually.
SET AMFELLOWS REPRO
If you want to see the messages that you posted.
SET AMFELLOWS ACK NOREPRO
If you want a short acknowledgement, instead of your own messages.
SET AMFELLOWS NOACK NOREPRO
If you want neither acknowledgement nor your own messages.
