Introduction to Windows and the Desktop Making the Most of Netscape Basic HTML: Linking to Media Resources |
| This workshop is designed to give participants the basic technical preparation necessary for the Institute. This includes an introduction to using the Windows desktop on a PC, which will be the operating platform during the Institute. (This is especially useful for MacIntosh users.) The Basics workshop will also cover the essential skills needed to best utilize Netscape, including setting a home page, saving images and using bookmarks. Finally participants will be introduced to the basics of HTML in order to understand how they may link to a variety of media resources within a lesson plan or presentation. |
