As the digital communications manager for EDC’s Office of Communications, Zahra Axinn works to develop and implement communications strategies across social media and other digital platforms. As an expert writer, Axinn seeks to make complex ideas accessible through clear messaging and storytelling.
Previous to EDC, Axinn worked as a marketing and communications specialist at UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science, where she was recognized with a Spot Award for special contributions to the university. While working at The Lawrence Hall of Science, she collaborated with designers and other key stakeholders on a successful rebranding campaign to revamp the science center’s physical campus and transform its digital presence.
Axinn holds an MA and an MFA from California College of the Arts and a BA from Stanford University.
