Sandrine Tembely is a development professional who has designed and managed basic education projects and coordinated diverse groups of development actors. Tembely joined EDC in 2016 as the chief of party for the PACETEM (Education for All Children in Mali) project, funded by the Educate a Child Program of the Education Above All Foundation of Qatar. In this role, she coordinates the activities of 12 NGOs of the FONGIM network to increase educational access and quality for 600,000 of the most vulnerable children in Mali.
From 2004 to 2016, Tembely was the head of the Education Mission at Aide et Action International in Mali, where she spearheaded multiple initiatives to develop education in the country, coordinating and maintaining partnerships with local and international organizations. Since 2013, Tembely has been the coordinator of the Forum for International NGOs in Mali (FONGIM), driving the network’s technical activities and meetings and developing joint initiatives.
