Building on her experiences as an afterschool practitioner, Kate Goddard puts youth development at the center of her work, designing and supporting programs that elevate inquiry and creativity as a tool of youth empowerment. She contributes her expertise to initiatives that seek to strengthen and support the out-of-school time workforce, including the National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (NCASE).

Goddard also leads the network engagement and capacity-building activities for the NSF INCLUDES Coordination Hub, a national initiative working to scale up proven and innovative approaches to provide access to groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields.

Previously, Goddard advanced the mission of Adobe Foundation’s philanthropic initiative Adobe Youth Voices by building the capacity of educators around the globe to implement youth media programming.
