David Bamat, a quantitative research methodologist at EDC, is experienced in educational research and evaluation.

Bamat has conducted quantitative analyses for several research and evaluation projects at EDC, including evaluations of STEM-focused high school programs and a large-scale Career and Technical Education program. He has also worked on early childhood and educator evaluation projects for the REL Northeast & Islands at EDC.

Bamat is a doctoral candidate in Boston College’s Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment program. He has experience with several statistical languages and programs, including a strong command of R and SPSS, as well as STATA and LISREL. He also has doctoral training in psychometric-specific programs, including IRTPRO, PARSCALE, WINSTEPS, BILOG, and NOHARM. Bamat is fluent in French and Spanish.
