Nancy Devine, senior vice president, is director of EDC’s International Development Division (IDD). She has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions with nonprofit organizations, working in education and youth development in the United States and Africa. Devine leads EDC's portfolio of IDD work in the fields of education; youth and workforce development; crisis, conflict, and violence; and health in over 30 countries, spanning Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Devine leads IDD’s strategic development to bring innovation and pragmatism to its work in education, youth and workforce development, and health in some of the world’s most challenging environments and to the hardest-to-reach populations around the world. Grounded in experiences from more than 10 years of living in West Africa, Devine brings field-driven solutions to EDC’s programming and point of view. Her area of technical expertise during her career has been to reinforce the capacity and engagement of civil society in education and youth programs.
