When the real world throws us a problem, it never lets us look in the back of the book. That’s why EDC supports preK–12 teachers in promoting students’ mathematics proficiency and paving the way for effective, lifelong problem solving.

Our instructional resources and implementation engage students and teachers in the practice of mathematics, fostering a more useful, deeper understanding and mathematical “habits of mind.” We guide strategic systemic change to address inequities in mathematics education, and we provide new insights into effective mathematics education, including the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching.
