Robert Rotner is EDC’s senior vice president for finance and administration, treasurer, and a member of the policy-making management council. He is responsible for providing leadership for and direction to all of the organization’s business services functions, including, legal, finance, sponsored programs, publishing, technology, and facilities.
Rotner is dedicated to ensuring that adequate staff, policies, procedures, and systems are in place to both safeguard EDC’s assets as well as to properly support its mission and goals. He believes that this can be best accomplished by fostering an overall work environment of collaboration, creativity, productivity, and innovation.
Rotner’s career has been devoted to supporting educational institutions. Prior to joining EDC, he spent 18 years at Harvard University serving in many administrative capacities, including administrative dean of the faculty of arts and sciences.
