EDC is building upon its Information Technology Across Careers (ITAC) project to focus on how technicians use social media tools in routine work to solve problems and manage a business enterprise. In partnership with Springfield and Brookfield Community Colleges, EDC will: 1) validate a rubric on new media use by technician entrepreneurs; 2) work with business partners to develop new media in action statements and scenarios to integrate into technical courses at community colleges; and 3) develop and implement professional development webinars for faculty and online courses for students in technician education programs.
