Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements Teachers’ Materials

Moreno/Lyons Productions has commissioned EDC to develop teacher’s materials for the television program Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements.

Materials include:

• Teacher’s edition and guide: A special edition of the two-hour television program, divided into shorter chapters, with navigation and icons for ease of use.
• Companion guide: Resources for teachers to foster use of the program in the high school chemistry classroom. Resources include: 1) Index; 2) Searchable transcript of the program; 3) Glossary of chemical terms; 4) Alignments of the program to national science education standards and textbooks; 5) Suggestions for student reflection on chapters of the program; 6) Investigations related to the program
