The Mathematics Leadership Program

The Mathematics Leadership Program (MLP) is designed to help school systems provide coordinated professional development for educational leaders with a variety of roles and responsibilities. * Attend the Developing Mathematical Ideas Leadership (DMIL) Institute to work on facilitating DMI seminars. * Attend the Professional Development for Coaching (PDC) Institute to develop coaching skills and insights. * Attend the Lenses on Learning for Administrators (LOLA) Institute to examine the administrator’s role as a leader in mathematics education. While all three institutes share the same goal — to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning by engaging in a process of inquiry into mathematics and student thinking — each is tailored to the roles and responsibilities of its audience.
