Literacy Matters

Literacy Matters is a comprehensive online professional development environment focusing on what matters most in adolescent literacy development (e.g., making the most of adolescent literacy, improving reading and writing in the content areas, and enhancing literacy and supporting mastery of technology). It offers teachers, coaches, and specialists in English Language Arts (ELA) Standards, content area, Title 1, special education, technology, and bilingual education access to the best-of-the-best Web sites, lesson plans, information about research-based literacy programs, and protected discussion areas.
