This large-scale research and technical assistance project focuses on principals who are serving in elementary and middle schools. It investigates:
- The nature of principals’ knowledge and beliefs about mathematics learning and teaching
- The effect of these beliefs on the principals’ practices of classroom observation and teacher supervision
