Inclusive Schools Week

Celebrated annually during the first full week of December, National Inclusive Schools Week highlights and celebrates the progress of the nation’s schools in providing a supportive and quality education to an increasingly diverse student population, particularly those with disabilities. The Week, which is sponsored by EDC’s Urban Special Education Leadership Collaborative, also provides an important opportunity for educators, students, and parents to discuss what else needs to be done in order to ensure that their schools continue to build capacity to successfully educate all children.
