Enhancing Informal Explorations of Living Phenomena Through Digital Images

This project is developing activity materials for informal science educators who work with middle school youth in extended investigations of living phenomena. It involves both the development of activities and controlled applied research, studying the role of different modes of visual representations and the impact of the units themselves on the attitudes and preparation for future learning of participating youth. Collaborators on this project are Program Evaluation and Research Group (PERG), Boston Nature Center, and the University of New Hampshire 4-H.
