Children’s Safety Network: National Injury and Violence Prevention Resource Center

Injuries, suicide, and violence cause the greatest number of deaths and hospitalizations for children and adolescents. The Children’s Safety Network at EDC works with local, state, and national maternal and child health agencies to strengthen their capacity to address these problems through the following:

  • Advocacy
  • Materials development
  • Training and technical assistance
  • Needs assessment
  • Evaluation
