Working with the American Cancer Society and local cancer control organizations, journalists, government staff, and health professionals EDC is helping to build capacity for cancer control efforts. These include advocacy, media relations, assessment, and planning. The project is in several countries including Nigeria, Senegal, and Tanzania.
