PTSD Coach Online

Challenge

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) impacts up to 20 percent of veterans of the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Digital health tools hold enormous potential for helping them and other individuals coping with PTSD or life stress to manage symptoms between clinician visits.

Alongside the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD), EDC designed PTSD Coach Online, a suite of online digital health tools that support individuals coping with stress—anywhere, anytime. Based on the popular PTSD Coach mobile app, developed by the NCPTSD, PTSD Coach Online offers a glimpse into the potential of evidence-based digital health tools to support populations in need.
