The Regional Educational Laboratory Northeast and Islands (REL-NEI) at EDC is hosting an interactive, online event that introduces math teachers and educators to a new guide for improving the way students learn fractions. Francis “Skip” Fennell, co-author of Developing Effective Fractions Instruction for Kindergarten Through 8th Grade, will review the critical issues around effective fractions instruction and present the guide’s recommendations for improving students’ learning of fractions.
