Resources for Coping with Violence and Loss

December 14, 2012

In response to the tragic shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, resources are available for educators and families to help children cope with traumatic events. For information about coping with violence, tips for speaking to young children, and more, go to http://crisisresponse.promoteprevent.org.  These resources were compiled by the National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention, funded by SAMHSA and implemented by EDC.
