At the 2011 Massachusetts STEM Summit, co-sponsored by EDC, hundreds of policymakers, educators, and funders gathered to discuss future state education initiatives in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. At the event, Massachusetts Lt. Governor Tim Murray announced a new statewide program (WOW Initiative) to promote STEM career development.
