Jennifer Ho discussed EDC’s work in Indonesia at a June 17 congressional briefing titled Education in the Islamic World, sponsored by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and hosted by the Basic Education Coalition, of which EDC is a member.
Participants in the briefing addressed the challenges of improving basic education in the Islamic world and discussed a range of programs that are improving quality education in Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Egypt.
