News media outlets are increasingly covering the current economic meltdown and often linking it to reports of suicide and suicide attempts. Is the economic crisis really causing increases in suicidal behaviors? The Suicide Prevention Resource Center at EDC conducted a March 12, 2009 webinar on the relationships between unemployment, economic crises and suicide.
