Join EDC at AERA 2017

Learn about EDC’s new findings in early childhood education, math education, learning science with digital games, teacher evaluation and professional learning, online learning for students, and college and career success at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), April 27–May 1, in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Knowledge to Action: Achieving the Promise of Equal Educational Opportunity.”

Here are some highlights of EDC’s events:

  • Six EDC researchers will share their expertise in forming and sustaining strong partnerships focused on improving student outcomes during the symposium “Research-Practice Partnerships: Lessons Learned by Two Regional Educational Laboratories.”
  • EDC researchers who support National Science Foundation awardees through the Community for Advancing Discovery Research in Education and STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR) will share new findings on advancing mathematics education and enhancing technology learning for members of underrepresented groups.
  • A symposium will spotlight findings from a randomized controlled trial of EDC’s Math For All professional development program.
