The U.S. Department of Education will convene its 19th Annual National Meeting on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention in Higher Education and the National Forum for Senior Administrators on October 2 – 5, 2005, in the Hoosier state. The National Meeting features preconference, plenary, poster, and workshop sessions, as well as exhibits, technical assistance, and other resource opportunities.

This is the national conference for examining issues around alcohol, other drugs, and violence on college campuses and in their surrounding communities. The National Meeting includes plenary session speakers, workshops and poster presentations, exhibits, and the National Forum for Senior Administrators. Proceedings begin on Sunday, October 2 with optional Pre-Conference Institutes and adjourn at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5. Approximately 450 participants are expected to convene at this year’s National Meeting.
