Elizabeth Miller Pittman is a specialist in curriculum development and training program design. She applies this expertise across youth development, basic education, and health programs around the world.
Pittman’s work is distinguished by a standards-based approach to curriculum development. She has applied her participatory training program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation skills in formal and nonformal education settings in Ghana, Guinea, Rwanda, Mali, Liberia, Senegal and the Philippines.
Pittman has helped develop curricula and training materials that address work readiness, entrepreneurship, literacy, mathematics, and sexual and reproductive health. Her audiences have included teachers, students, health caregivers, and the staff of health and education ministries.
Pittman has an MA in international training and education from the American University.
