The Telementoring Project, a three year experimental program funded by the National Science Foundation, was completed in 1998. While the project is no longer in operation, the Center for Children and Technology (CCT) continues to support organizations interested in learning about how to set up this kind of program and the value of such programs for young women. Find out more about related project developments at CCT, read relevant reports, or take a tour of our archived Telementoring website. |
If you are interested in learning more about the benefits of Telementoring and lessons learned about how to design such a project, check out CCT's related reports. | For children, especially girls ages 8-12, check out Imagination Place! in Kahoots, a special online club that allows kids to explore the world of invention and design, and share their ideas with other young inventors around the world. | Check out CCT's "A Lifetime of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics," CD-ROM and website, featuring gender equity projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). |
