Media Literacy Research

This basic research project, being carried out in conjunction with the Media Workshop of New York, explores the media literacy needs of K-12 teachers. Findings on how "media literate" teachers are, and what kinds of issues and methods of inquiry are most salient to them, will inform program development at the Media Workshop and understanding of media literacy in technology.
