5 Steps to a Slide Show |
Choose a Viewpoint for your slide show Will you tell your audience that the prairie is a wonderful place to settle and raise a family? A harsh and lonely wilderness? Both? First you need to choose what your viewpoint on prairie life will be -- that of a Land Speculator, Journalist, or a Prairie Mother. |
Select 5 Images that support your viewpoint Look at each image closely in order to decide if it supports your viewpoint on prairie life, or not. |
Write captions for the photographs Your captions should explain to the audience what is going on in each picture, and how it supports your view of prairie life. |
Write a short introduction Grab your audience's attention with an opening line or two. This should announce your general view of prairie life. |
View your slideshow! Afterward, you can edit it, print it out to compare to others, and investigate the sources and other related topics. |
