Hi Y'all,
It's time for the 2001 summer institutes - yes, institutes! Last year we
moved the institute to the Learning Center which now has a classroom.
Fellows are divided into two one-week sessions, split out by grade levels
taught. This year is especially meaningful for us because it will be the
last year for the program in its present form.
We would like to invite any fellow who will be in Washington Sunday, July
15 or Sunday, July 22 to come to our Fellows' orientation reception from
6-8 pm at the Capitol Hill Club. The Capitol Hill Club is across from the
Capitol South metro station and right behind the Madison Bldg (our
building). If you can come, RSVP to Sharon Nixon (snix@loc.gov) posthaste.
