I found myself today answering the question about how a bill becomes a law again, and wanted to share some good news for those of you who, like me, learned this, or got your reinforcement, through Schoolhouse Rock.

There is a website that got permission from ABC/Disney to publish the "I'm Just A Bill" audio and video from Schoolhouse Rock. For those of you too young or too old to remember, "I'm Just A Bill" is from the America Rock series (1975-79) of Schoolhouse Rock (1973-86, plus more recent revivals). "I'm Just A Bill" was sung by Jack Sheldon <http://www.jacksheldon.com/school.htm> in 1975 and illustrated with an animated cartoon for Saturday morning TV on ABC. The Jack Sheldon website includes audio, video, and the lyrics. The official Schoolhouse Rock webpage: <http://disney.go.com/disneytelevision/disney1/index3.html> (then search for schoolhouse rock). There are several "unofficial" pages for the series.

Of course, every library has information about this topic, and the Learning Page links to many good resources on political science <http://memory.loc.gov/learn/resources/inres/ss/polisci.html>. Plus there are those posted on the web by Congress. They are:

The THOMAS website <http://thomas.loc.gov/>, includes links to these documents:
